Demo Licence

The Demo Licence (or Trial EULA) allows you to test the typeface on your computer before purchasing a full commercial licence. Demo fonts are provided in OTF format with a significantly reduced character set compared to the full versions. All OpenType features (e.g., ligatures, alternates) are removed, and language support is limited to basic Latin characters. This trial version is intended solely for personal evaluation, mockups, and testing purposes. It may not be used in any final artwork, commercial projects, or public-facing work. Testing the font(s) helps you (or your client) decide confidently whether to invest in the full typeface.

PERMITTED	NOT PERMITTED
Use the fonts in apps such as Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, Word, Canva, and Figma for evaluation purposes.	Sharing the font(s) with other potential users. Individuals must download their own copies and accept the licence terms from The Foundry website.
Create preliminary designs to convince yourself or your client that investing in a licence to use the full version of the typeface is necessary.	Using the font(s) for any final artwork, commercial projects, or public-facing work.
Install the fonts on two devices per authorised User (e.g., one desktop PC and one laptop).	Including fonts with any multi-file package (e.g., design mockups and templates) for personal or commercial use.

The Nitty Gritty

By downloading and/or installing font software (“Demo Font”) offered by Paulo Goode (“The Foundry”), you (“Licensee”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of this End User Licensing Agreement (“EULA”):

1. Right Granted
This Trial EULA applies to each individual Demo Font offered by The Foundry whether a single font or multiple fonts were purchased from The Foundry website.

The Foundry grants a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for evaluation purposes only. This grant is subject to full compliance with all terms of this EULA. Licensee may install and use the Demo Font on both a personal desktop computer and one other portable device is allowed.

The Licensee may make one backup copy of the Demo Font solely for archival purposes.

2. Usage
The Demo Font may be used for non-commercial evaluation purposes only before deciding to proceed with purchase of a full licence by either the Licensee or the client of the Licensee. Use of the Demo Font is restricted to: the preliminary options for any graphic design/typographic project; for wireframing and website design mockups; for prototyping apps and software; for provisional layouts of ePublications; for testing of any digital advertising; for any design explorations relating to eventual on-screen appearances through film, TV, streaming platforms, etc. Specific EULAs are available from The Foundry website for all such uses as and when the Demo Licensee is ready to proceed to final artwork for personal or commercial projects.

3. Provision to Third Parties
Licensee can not share the Demo Font with any third parties. Each User must undertake the purchase and registration procedure at The Foundry website in order to download the Demo Font free of charge.

4. Term
This EULA grants a perpetual licence for the rights set forth in Paragraph 1 unless and until the EULA terminates under Paragraph 8. The Foundry will not charge additional fees after purchase, annually or otherwise.

5. Image Creation
Licensee is permitted to use the Demo Font to make JPEG, PNG, SVG and GIF pixel-based images solely as part of the initial design process leading to the presentation of work in progress to the client or project manager (naturally, the Licensee can make their own decisions if this is a personal project). Licensee must ensure that no Embedding or other transmission of the Demo Font is made possible when presenting visual ideas and work in progress to the client. Licensee must also ensure that the appropriate EULA(s) is/are purchased for the complete version(s) of the Font before any final artwork is generated. Use of any images created during the initial creative process with the Demo Font are not permitted to appear in any public-facing final artwork/project/release.

6. Modifications
Licensee may import and alter the bezier outlines of the Demo Font in a drawing program for purposes of evaluation and for the process of presenting visual ideas to the client or project manager. Licensee may not modify the Demo Font or create derivative works based on the Demo Font without prior written consent from The Foundry.

7. Copyright
The Demo Font is protected by copyright law. The Foundry is the sole, exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights, including rights under copyright and trademark law. Licensee agrees not to use the Demo Font in any manner that infringes the intellectual property rights of The Foundry or violates the terms of this EULA. Licensee will be held legally responsible, for any infringements on The Foundry’s rights caused by failure to abide by the terms of this EULA.

8. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. This EULA terminates immediately if Licensee breaches any term. Upon termination, Licensee must delete all copies of the Demo Font.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Demo Font and related documentation are provided “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind. The Foundry expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The Foundry does not warrant that the operation of the Font will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Demo Font is without defects.

10. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of Cork, Ireland. This choice of law does not deprive the Licensee of protections under mandatory laws of their jurisdiction.

11. Good Will
A credit to The Foundry would be appreciated by the font designer for use of the full versions of the font(s), if a credits and attributions section is applicable/allowed in the end product.
