Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website (the “Site“) and the purchase of digital font software (“Fonts”) from Paulo Goode, an independent type designer based in Ireland (referred to as “I”, “me”, “my”, or the “Foundry”). By accessing the Site, browsing, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase any Fonts.

The Fonts are digital products sold as downloadable files via WooCommerce. All sales are subject to the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) provided with each purchase, which forms part of these Terms.

Purchases and Payments

• All prices are displayed in USD and exclude any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT where required under Irish/EU law).
• Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party providers (WooPayments/Stripe, PayPal, and Klarna). I do not store your full payment card details.
• Upon successful payment, you will receive instant access to download the licensed Fonts.
• All sales are final for digital products. No refunds are offered except where required by law (e.g., under EU consumer protection rules, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for certain purchases, but this does not apply once the download has commenced with your consent).

Delivery of Digital Products

Fonts are delivered electronically as downloadable files immediately after purchase. It is your responsibility to ensure you have compatible software to install and use the Fonts. I am not liable for any issues arising from incompatibility or user error.

Font Licensing (End User Licence Agreement)

Purchasing a Font grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Font software in accordance with the specific licence type selected at purchase (e.g., Desktop, Webfont, App, eBook, Digital Ads, Screen & Broadcast, or Demo). Ownership of the copyright in the Font designs and software remains with me at all times.

Custom licences (e.g., for large enterprises, multi-user server licensing, etc.) are available on request. Please contact me for extended needs.

Violation of the licence may result in termination and legal action.

Demo Fonts

All Demo Font packages offered on this website are intended solely for personal evaluation, mockups, and testing purposes. They may not be used in any final artwork, commercial projects, or public-facing work. Testing the Font(s) helps you (or your client) decide confidently whether to invest in the full typeface and purchase the appropriate commercial licence.

By downloading Demo Fonts, you will be added to The Foundry’s mailing list to receive occasional updates and news. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. Read the full terms of the Demo Licence before proceeding to download the font packages [LINK].

Intellectual Property

All fonts and related promotional imagery within The Monotype Collection [LINK] is the intellectual property of Monotype – these type families are displayed on this website by kind permission. All other fonts, website content, previews, and designs are my intellectual property and protected by copyright and other laws. No ownership is transferred to you – only a limited licence to use.

Limitation of Liability

The Fonts are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Fonts or Site. My total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the licence.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. As an EU-based business, I comply with relevant EU regulations, including consumer rights.

Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
