Instantly give your designs a “touch of class” with Didonesque – inspired by classic Didone typefaces that are synonymous with luxury brands, it is a highly versatile and elegantly stylish font family. It is inherently a display typeface and therefore ideal for headlines, logotype, branding and short runs of text.

Didonesque features a higher x-height with shorter ascenders and descenders than traditional Didone fonts, you might also notice slight curvatures within the /v/w/y/ glyphs, these characteristics give Didonesque a distinctive personality that I am sure you will appreciate.

Didonesque was inspired by such typefaces as Bodoni, Didot and Pistilli Roman. Perhaps Didonesque could be described as a hybrid of all those classic fonts but with a contemporary slant? My take on the Didone style encompasses features that will help you create beautiful branding, packaging and magazine designs – check out the discreet ligatures and two styles of ampersand!

Didonesque includes both small caps and petite caps. The petite caps harmonise perfectly with the lowercase character set, meaning you can mix and match your type and create unicase-style typography. These are available across all weights and styles.

Whatever you’re working on, make it beautiful with Didonesque.

Didonesque chosen as one of Fontspring’s Best of 2017.
