I think this is the first attempt by the West Cork Hotel to create a proper corporate identity.
Unfortunately, they’ve never really “got it right” before and there’s always been a “that’ll do” approach when it comes to the way they’ve presented themselves to the world. Anyway, I was delighted to get the chance to create an identity with the right blend of richness and luxury with that warm West Cork welcome and sense of comfort.
So, my attempt is now complete and ready to roll. I have even gone to the length of producing corporate identity usage guidelines, am hoping that these can and will be adhered to, or will we continue to see advertising with a squashed logo and body copy in Times and Arial? :))
Paulo understood my ideas for the new website immediately and managed to offer creativity, innovation, a commercial eye and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the project.
